We are able to provide one-on-one live video instruction via FaceTime or Zoom.

We will contact you to coordinate your one-on-one instruction session. This price is per guest and does not include fabric or a project.

You can decide what hours work best for you.

Dates are available between Tueday through Friday

Available hours between 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Classes will be held on the same day of the week of your choosing.

Seats are available on first come basis.

If you have never sewn or are want to brush up this is the perfect course. Most of the learning will be hands-on. This course will be conducted over 8 consecutive weeks. They are designed to teach you basic home-sewing machine operating skills, stitching, darts, pleats, zippers, pouches, pattern layout, fabric cutting, sewing construction, and/or finishing techniques. A pre-approved selected pattern will be used to complete projects.

Students must read and accept to the terms and conditions section.

Students may withdraw from the program at any time without penalty. In the event of an early withdrawal in the middle of a session, tuition will not be prorated. Tuition is not transferable.

Tuition is based on the number of hours enrolled. Full tuition payment is due at the time of registration.

Tuition is not prorated for missed classes. Please see our policy below regarding attendance/make-up classes.

One make-up class will be made available at the end of each quarter for excused absences

Materials:

Students are required to purchase fabric and notions for each project. You will be informed in advance of the needed materials for class.

Hold Harmless Agreement:

We understand the sewing instructor/s will do their best to prevent accidents from happening. However I, the undersigned participant, for myself and for my heirs, executors, legal representative, successors and assigns, hereby waives all claims and/or course of action, including negligence, against EmBody Love Clothing for any accident that may occur to myself or to my child while participating in sewing classes (all locations), and all sewing activities held by the sewing instructor/s. I have carefully read this agreement and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is a waiver, release of liability and assumption of risk agreement between me and EmBody Love Clothing, the trustees, all officers, directors, employees, and agents, arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in the above-designated activity.
PAYMENTS

Payment is required at time of registration to hold your spot. You can either register/pay online. The fee does not include the cost of supplies unless otherwise stated.

We offer a large selection of sewing classes from beginner to advance. To sign up for a class, you must register and pay the class fee in order to reserve your space.

You must bring a printed copy of your order confirmation with you on the first day of class to confirm your registration and guarantee your seat is reserved.

Pre-work: Wash and press fabrics before class

CANCELLATIONS

We know things can happen, and should you need to cancel (and cannot give your space to a friend) we will issue a gift certificate for the class fee up to one week before the class starts. No credit is given for cancellations one week prior or less.

We reserve the right to cancel classes as necessary, at which time a refund or store credit will be issued. EmBody will do its best to notify students of a cancellation at least 3 days prior to the class date. There are absolutely no refunds or compensation for no-shows.

Classes require a sewing machine in good working order. . Please let us know when you register if you will need us to set up for you to use.

Pattern, Fabric and Threads: Fabric yardage will be determined by the pattern you choose - Fabric will be discussed with your instructor during the first class.

Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to set up, and be prepared to start immediately at the designated time. All classes start at the designated time and begin wrapping up ten minutes prior to the scheduled end to class. Late arrivals are accommodated up to ten minutes after a class commences. No guarantee for accommodation is made for arrivals later than ten minutes.

NOTE

Everyone works at different rates & different levels of understanding. Some people may finish in the allotted time, some may not. We feel that the knowledge gained and implemented is more important than a finished project.

To be considerate of others, phones must be on vibrate. Additional class time will not be added for unscheduled breaks.

Due to space and safety, no one but the registered student will be allowed in class.
